At either side are smaller rubies set close together to form dart shape pointing back toward band and banded on each side by four small diamonds. Diamond bands continue to form point of engraved scrolls along each side of band. (b) clear, cut glass, narrow gold band with large, round, raised setting of cut glass stones at front. Large multi faceted stone at centre surrounded by a circle of eight smaller stones held by long prongs around outside. Ring engraved around setting and part way down band each side with scrollwork. Thin, black enamel line decorates around setting, coming to a point at either side.

Hollow, silver heart shaped locket with padlock like shackle on top. Hand engraved heart has gracefully curling scrollwork on each side of the flat, heart shaped area. Edges are engraved with straight line, square pattern going around the heart edges. On each lobe of the heart sits a small 4.0 mm silver ball from which springs an arched loop of silver passing from one to the other. This shackle is fastened securely into one ball where it is hinged to allow the other end to open, much in the smae manner as a padlock. End of shackle which opens has small notched hook to hold it in place when closed.

Description
A comb of wooden tines which radiate like the spokes of a wheel, through a section of arc from an extended handle. They are made of bamboo. At the focus they are bound in wire. Either side of the wedge of tines is encased in a darker wooden carved face plate which extends up to face the handle as well and the face plates are held to the extensions of the struts by fine brass wire, a shaft of wire running through the tines between the face plates and curled at its ends. A lace of fine brass wire separates as it binds the tines below the face plates. The face plates are carved with small stroke designs.
