In the space further to the right of the drawing is the inscription: TWO BURLY SENIOR CLASSMEN TOWERING OVER A SHIVERING RECRUIT. The beginnings of a pencil-sketched head, in a similar scale to the two larger figures appears to the right of the finished, ink figures. The numbers 800000000 (with zeros descending vertically) appear in the top left corner. Arrows from this inscription point to the two larger men.
