Horn is a cone which flares out into a bell at the end, small, wire ring, 1.5 diam, soldered to horn so it hangs down underneath the horn and acts as a handle to either grip or slide one's finger through. Large, 5.3 x 1.1 cm, safety pin fastened through the ring. Cone is truncated with small round opening at mouthpiece end. Brass coloured, vibrating disk inside cone at mouth piece end is held in place between two ferrules, and has two small rectangular tongues cut through the metal which vibrate when the horn is buzzed with the lips.

Base is low, 7.2 cm, box with rounded shoulders at front and back, varnished and embellished with two deep grooves running along the top, and three vertical grooves in the middle of each side. Single, pointed brown celluloid knob near front if right side is set into round hole through box, and connects all works hidden under box, small, simple motor connecting turntable, playing arm, and wiring. Light brown, flock covered turntable is wheel set off slightly to left overhanging edge of box. Short record spindle at centre. Brown metal playing arm sits on short metal column and spring hinged to lift. Teardrop shaped headshell holds needle and rests on rubber tipped, wooden column. Metal plate screwed to back contains wattage and voltage information, etc. Gold RCA Victor decal and trademark, dog looking into phonograph horn, "His Master's Voice, at back between turntable and arm. - A portable radio fitted into yellowish, fabric covered carrying case with suitcase grip handle at top. Tabby weave grain texture with wide black and red striped band passing up sides and across top under handle, which is leather covered and attached with heavy metal brackets. Front of case has panel which lifts and slides into top by means of metal ringed hole at its bottom. Radio inside is covered with fitted varnished wood face with slatted speaker on left, and square glass over tuning dial with three celluloid knobs beneath, "volume", "sw-bc", "tuning", dial divided in half horizontally with upper half numbered from 6.0 to 15 for "shortwave" with cutout square indicating whether on or off, indicator needle has long straight arms either side of a central pivot. (u) 2.5 x 3.5 small flared basket with small base and twisted handle, translucent hair weft alternating with red bands. (v) 2. x 2.5 as (u) but brown bands. 3 odd baskets. (w) 5.5 x 6.5 East-Asian type basket with extra exterior ribs added forming square base, diagonal weft at bottom over flat ribs with band of closely woven wicker type weft at top and wooden rings supporting round opening at top. (x) 5. x 5. shallow round bottomed basket with sturdy handle, rib structure radiates fan like from the bottoms of the handle to form the basket with the weft running from side to side across, rather than around, sturdy hoop at rim fastened at right angles to hoop forming handle.(y) 9.5 x 7.5 x 4. tall oblong basket with loop handle on either side , openwork sides bound together with three rows of twined stitching, band at base and top thickly closely twined.

- A finely painted figurine of an elegantly dressed, standing Japanese woman, made of bisqued clay, she is glued to a black painted square pedestal of wood. She is on gatas, an orange skirt, and a white flowered kimono which is red principally, and hanging down her back a white panel with rose, blue and silver patterns. On her head a bandeau of red, gold rose and green, face also finely done in pale pink white, molded nose, painted eyes, brows, and lips. The object was probably slip cast, bisque fired, and hand painted.

(c) h 2.5 x 5.5 d, flat high crown sloping down and flaring out to brim, overlapping flat pieces of split bamboo ? radiating from the centre of crown are bent and stitched to shape supported at the rim by loop of bamboo ? lined with stiff brown paper. Inner woven basket crown to fit head, Thailand. (d) h 3.5 x 7. d high pointed crown with wide brim, woven of black and white horsehair ? over delicate structure of hair fine ribs for forming loops at edge of rim, structure easily seen through weaving. (e) h 1.7 x 3.5 d, very tiny hat with pointed crown and upturned brim, woven of black, white and orange horsehair ? over flat ribs radiating from crown and bent up at rim, structure easily seen under weft.

- A collection of three miniature Swiss chalets in varying degrees of details. (a) very detailed and delicate three storied chalet with green shuttered windows paned with mirrors across front. Ornately carved balcony across at second storey, and balcony at first storey with staircase at either side leading to platform base, two lengths of picket fence stand in front, one missing, slanted roof covered with small U-shaped wooden blocks. Roof lifts on hinges to reveal small open box inside lined with purple paper, containing silver ice axe pin and carved wood purple gentian pin. (b) 6.4hx8.6wx6.8d, simply carved dark brown wooden log structure chalet with suggestion of shallow shed on right side, slanted roof covered with four small wooden blocks. Slot carved through roof parallel to ridgepole allows chalet to be used as bank, coins are released from under shed at side. (c) 2.4h, very tiny simple chalet of two storeys with lower smaller then upper, balcony across front and window with green shutters. Window panes represented by a piece of netting backed with a mirror, simple representation of staircase on right side, three small round black circles on roof.
