Dark brown fired clay with pink green white black over glaze enamels. Two panels, one containing feather and other containing pink camellia flower. Spout in form of applied raccoon decoration with tail protruding from opposite side of pot. Two applied loops for attachment to possibly a bamboo handle, lid knob swivels, two steam holes in lid. Serrated ridge near base. Signature stamp near raccoon tail. Folklore "Bunbuku Chagama". A raccoon who turned into a cast iron tea kettle. Finger prints form pattern on the bottom.
