- Two beadstrips which together form a decorative headstall for a horse in ceremonial parade, heavily beaded canvas, the elongated strips have a white ground on which geometric figures in stepped square patterns form triangles, crosses, and diamonds in blue, burgundy, and green. At the wider end of each a cutout square allows for attaching to headstall. The beads of (a) at the top are a clear blue glass, on (b) they are a frosty opaque blue.

- A decorative martingale for a horse in parade. Heavily beaded, it broadly forms an "H" of two strips with geometric figures on them, and a cross bar with a floral emblem on it. The vertical strips have buckskin ties at the tops, and are white with various triangles and diamonds, principally in vermilion with green and blue borders, gonfalon lower ends. The centre panel is almost square and is a very pale blue ground with a conventional flower made up of circles upon it in deep green and blood red, plus four leaves of light green. Below the panel is a fringe of light buckskin, running from strut to strut.

Wooden handle wrapped with blue silk cord with pebbly white sharkskin showing through diamond-shaped openings in wrapping. Metal cap at end of handle with relief of squatting figure reading scroll. Small cast figures of two deer caught beneath cord on either side of handle. Metal band at base of handle with relief of gilded figure in reed boat. Rectangular sword guard with cast relief of chrysanthemums and butterfly with holes cut through each side to accommodate small dirk handle. (b) dirk, steel bladed with copper handle with relief casting of brass dragon on one side. (c) scabbard, slightly curved wood covered with black enamel containing green flecks, blunt end, top of scabbard has slot on one side leading to pocket in scabbard to accommodate small dirk. Opposite side from slot has semi-circular horn ? lug threaded with a length of black silk cord. Note: small band at top of dirk pocket missing, enamel cracked and peeling in many places, especially near top, semi-circular lug loose.

The mollusk hinge is very crude and appears to have been broken away, there are two circles on either side of hinge where the wood is missing. Turtle is dark hardwood, shell is black lacquered wood.
