- A decorative horse bridle, heavily beaded canvas. The device when laid flat looks like a pair of cravats, rounded ends at the bottom rosettes at the top, joined by a wide band which would fit across the horse's head. Design of white ground with alternating black and white border in lazy stitch, and three black buffalo, increasing in size as descending down the length, two bison heads and a bison standing right profile. The left rosette is of a bison head, but the right rosette is a replacement and is a stylized sun, a red circle on a white ground. Buckskin thongs at base of "cravats" and tops.

Small cast figures of two deer caught beneath cord on either side of handle. Metal band at base of handle with relief of gilded figure in reed boat. Rectangular sword guard with cast relief of chrysanthemums and butterfly with holes cut through each side to accommodate small dirk handle. (b) dirk, steel bladed with copper handle with relief casting of brass dragon on one side. (c) scabbard, slightly curved wood covered with black enamel containing green flecks, blunt end, top of scabbard has slot on one side leading to pocket in scabbard to accommodate small dirk. - The toy penguin is tin and covered with a black and white fabric. His stomach and underneath his chin, and arms the fabric is white. The remaining body is black fabric. The penguin still has both of his plastic eyes, which seem to be in good condition. His nose and feet appear to be tin and are painted orange with black detailing for the nails and nostrils. The wind-up device, located at the viewer left, is also assumed to be tin and has been painted purple. The penguin also has a orange bow tie located just beneath the neck where you would expect a bow tie to be. There is identical blue patent stickers underneath the arms on both the viewer left and right side. The patent sticker contains the words “TRADE MARK” with the MT (Masudaya) logo directly underneath and “MODERN TOYS P. PATENT” “MADE IN JAPAN” all in silver lettering. The patent sticker on the viewer right is more worn and has suffered some discolouring. The penguin also has metal wheels on the bottom of the feet. The penguin is still functioning; when it is wound the head, wings and mouth move and the wheels underneath move the penguin forward.Made in Japan.

Plate (b) is called "Master of the Hounds" and bottom had a 4. Plate (c) is called "Full Cry" and has a 4 on bottom. Plate (d) is called "The Laggard" and has a 4 on bottom. Plate (e) is called "The Kill" and doesn't have a 4 on bottom. Plate (f) is called "1st October" and has a 4 on the bottom. All plates except (a) have number sequence "2M534?" written on bottom.
