(a) finger pick set (3.4 x 2.0 diam) four metal frames that fit over the finger tip,Y-shaped with the arms of the Y forming an adjustable band that fits around finger, and the stem of the Y passing up over the tip of the finger and down the back halfway to the band, tip is crimped in stiff fold, 3 have solder at the tip to form a longer point. (MFG: Fitrite).(b) finger pick set (2.5 x 1.8 x 2.0) six metal rings that fit over the finger tips, adjustable band has circles cut out along it, flame shaped fingernail rises from band, curling inward slightly, and with cut out circle at middle. (mfg: National) (c) finger pick (2.5 x 1.9 x 2.0) as (b) but without cut out circles (mfg: Artisto) (d) finger picks (3.0 x 1.7 x 1.9) two metal bands that wrap around finger tip, widening near the end, then narrowing to a point that extends off to one side of the finger. (e) finger picks (3.5 x 1.5 x 1.9) two flat ivory bands which curl once around finger tip and extend out to one side in a point. (f) pick (3.2 x 2.3 x .1) small, flat, egg shaped, marbleized, grey plastic, stiff. (mfg: Durro). (g) pick (3.0 x 2.2 x .1) as (f) but brown tortoise shell coloured plastic (mfg: Eureka). (h) pick (2.7 x 1.9 x .1) as (f) but transparent yellowed plastic ?, slightly curled. (i) capo (5.3 x 1.9 x .9) flat metal bar with small hooks at either end to hold tightly coiled spring across the under side, lined underneath bar with cork. (mfg: Elton). j) bridge ? (4.7 x .8 x 1.1) a long, half round, hollow metal bar with six incised rings spaced evenly along the length. (mfg: Kamiki). (k) slides (7.2 x 1.7 diam) two heavy, solid, brass rods (used to slide over strings when playing the guitar Hawaiian style) (1) peg (5.0 x .9 x 2.3) white, cast plastic peg with long shaft and flattened key with finger depression each side, ferrules around top of shaft. (m) bridge (4.7 x 1.4 x 1.9) low, unfinished wood bridge with small dark support perpendicularly across under middle, short legs thicken slightly at base, series of small notches across top, some deliberately cut into wood, some worn in odd places from strings (mfg: Grover).

(c) same as (b) without pearl, 1.9 x .4 x .2, die struck. Hook clasp has double legs but joined by its curve into single hook. Period 1890 - 1915. (d) same as (c) but flat with border, 2.0 x .4 x .3, plain with small, gold, 14k, machine stamped, bead edging completely around outside. (e) engraved, 2.6 x .4 x .4, flat, rectangular bar with scrolled design hand engraved on side of hook clasp. Period 1890 - 1915. (f) silver, rhodium? plated over gold, 2.4 x .5 x .4, small openwork ellipse with five small flowers across middle joined by wire filigree. Cuts in flowers and around edges cause sparkling, diamond like appearance. Small hook clasp has tiny lever on back to lock pin when pushed down, 14k stamped on back. Period 1890-1915.

Two medium sized bar pins with clear oval stones at centres. Long hinged pin spikes across back fasten under locking hook clasps. (a) gold elliptical shaped with gold wire cross-hatching forming large diamond shapes on each side, enclosed with another wire outlining the shape of the pin. Large 1.1 x .7 cm , oval, water opal, Australia Stone? flashing green and red fire. Back of pin flat, forming silhouette of front. (b) rhodium ? plated, sparkling silver coloured ellipse of fine, delicate, filigree bordered by a narrow band of sharply engraved pattern which picks up the light. Framed at centre is oval 1.4 x .9 piece of transparent glass with a small diamond .2 cm dia. at the centre set in a diamond shaped setting. Back of glass carved with radiating spikes which show through and form pattern around diamond.

Gold filigree bar links alternated with small red enamelled circles, four gold ellipses, 2.4 cm long each filled with a different design of fine gold filigrees. Separated by two tiny gold disks enamelled with red circle containing gold cloisonne wire design, each very simple and different from one another. Each circle and each bar have two small eyes on either side which are joined to one another by small rings, giving the effect of a filigree square between each bar and circle, repeated around the bracelet. Ring bolt clasp, hand-made, 14 karat gold.

Description
Windsor captain's (or smoker's bow) chair in a dark stained wood. Arms are formed by a continuous piece of wood, backrest above arms sits on five wooden spindles, 4.5 cm. high, each alternating with one of four metal rods. Backrest curves gently upward and is 45.0 cm. wide and 10.5 cm. high, ten 24 cm. high wooden spindles join armrest to chair seat. A metal rod is screwed into each side of armrest and fastened by a square nut on bottom side of seat to give greater support. Seat is saddle shape. The four turned legs are joined by two stretchers on each side. Two front legs are spool-shaped while back legs are plain. Two flat headed rods cross diagonally and are fastened to legs by square nut on one end. Metal rods are also used as reinforcements between seat and top stretcher on either side of chair. Note: A 3 cm. gap between planks on seat reveals tongue and groove technique for joining.

Two miniature, enamelled, light blue books with photographs inside. Books of brass with scrolled design cast into back cover, each different. Front cover enamel cloisonne around words describing the region photographed. Large hinge on left, and small ring latch on right to allow book to open, small, rigid loop at top of back cover for hanging from bracelet. Inside are two brass pages with sepia coloured photographs glued to each side, as well as to the inside covers, six photos each. (a) "Canadian Rockies" photos of Banff Springs Hotel, Lake Louise, Mount Stephen, Emerald Lake, Great Glacier, and Hell's Gate. (b) "Bath" Abbey, exterior. Abbey, interior , Roman Baths, town square, River, Municiptal Bdgs. Loose ring in rigid ring at top.
