(a) rocket shaped - central shaft of finely polished, green stone with point at end, gold coloured, base metal, triangular wings at either side. Wings stepped down in thickness from central shaft three times. Back of solid base metal with spring clasp hinged at base of triangular shape. Clasp is wide, flat bar the length of pin with three small teeth at end to grip fabric. Marks: stamped in clasp, “ pat. apld. for” (b) rhinestone - large, slightly curved, vertical band, pointed at bottom. Set with square cut green glass gemstones in shape of "T". Four, wide, emerald cut white rhinestones at each side beneath crosspiece of "T" extending halfway down shaft. Rest of area beside shaft and around bottom in pointed shape is encrusted with brilliant cut white rhinestones. Large clasp at back hinged behind crossbar of "T". Small sharp teeth at end to grip fabric. Marks: oval plate on clasp: “S. Friedman/ N.Y.”
