- An oil sketch of a mountain landscape. The painting is an impressionistic landscape with thick, visible brush strokes. A mountain in the background dominates the image. In the foreground is a green hillside and forest. The painting consists of primarily green, purple, grey and brown. The artist’s signature is in orange paint in the brhc. Au verso, in the top lhc in black ink, “49/V”. Centre on the top wood frame in blue ink, “68415” and along the bottom, “F145 RAW 68145 78”.
