- An oil sketch of a mountain landscape. The primary colours used are orange, purple, green and blue. An orange sky dominates the upper third of the piece, and is punctuated by a grey and a purple cloud. A purple and green mountain extends from the left side across the surface of the piece. The blue water of the river runs over the lower third, and is disrupted by an area composed of green, brown and purple strokes. The artist’s signature is in the brhc in grey paint. Au verso, written in black ink at the tlhc, “47/U”.
