Description: Two sketches for Christmas cards on the top half of the page. The larger of the two is a group of animals in a nondescript room, each doing something a different at there own tables. The smaller of the two drawings is the same scene repeated, however there is an additional animal that appears to be looking out a window. verso: in the BLC there are two postage stamps, one 2 cent Jefferson stamp and a 4 cent Lincoln stamp. On top of them there is a black ink stamped on top. In the BRC is says “The Junior League of Boston, Inc. 117 NEWBERRY STREET, BOSTON 16, MASSACHUSETTS”. Near the middle is says “MRS. Peter Whyte Box 370 Banff, Alberta Canada”

Description: Ten small drawings of different activities occurring. 1) three people are walking over a hill with a couple of animals, 2) a group of people appear to be travelling in a convoy with a horse dragging goods behind it, 3) a group of people on horses moving across the land, 4) a person on a horse that is pulling supplies are coming up over a hill, there are tipis off in the background, 5) a group in a wagon follow behind another heading towards the mountains, 6) possibly a small hut with a person, and there is a hide stretched out on poles, 7) a group of people have assembled in an open area outdoors, 8) a person who appears to have a some sort of head ornament on is preparing to shoot an arrow with their bow, 9) a wooden drying rack with meat hanging from it, in front of it there looks like two people are sitting on the ground, and 10) a group of huts lined up near trees, there appears to be smoke coming out of ventilation areas on the roof. verso: a sketch of the 1955 Christmas card, another boxed off drawing of a person appearing to be playing a drum, a drawing that has some similarities to “Seven Teepees” (though completed about 20 years earlier, and a final boxed off drawing of a native man wearing a headdress.

Description: Two boxed-off drawings are on the paper. In the first in the top half of the paper is a drawing of twelve tipis that appear to be placed in a circular pattern. There is an open area in the middle which appears to have people doing tasks in the area. In the tipi in the foreground there is a figure in a hat standing beside it, looking out into the assembled tipis. In the second drawing in the bottom half of the paper there is a similar narrative, though it only has nine tipis. The image is less detailed, and does not have any figures in it. verso: there are two sketches of rectangles, the one on the left has what appears to be dimension numbers beside it “25” and “30”. The second sketch is a bigger rectangle with two lines drawn in the length near the top edge and the other near the bottom edge.
