Two wooden badminton rackets. a) Wooden badminton racket with a laminated handle of light wood with incised vertical lines and a leather covering at the heel marked “WHEN NOT IN USE PLEASE KEEP IN A PRESS”. The racket is strung with natural gut with a horizontal rows with a dark red and two rows of bright red at the top and bottom. The throat of the racket has an inscription that reads “ T.H. Prosser & Sons” (?). On the other-side of the throat it reads “The Superb” and father down the handle it is stamped with “MADE IN ENGLAND”. The racket is held in a press. The press has four metal screws to hold the press together. Each screw reads “BY ROYAL LETTERS NOS 263472 209870 PATENT”. b) Wooden badminton racket with a laminated handle of light and dark wood with incised vertical lines and a leather covering at the heel marked “WHEN NOT IN USE PLEASE KEEP IN A PRESS”.
