The film was directed by Robert Altman and co-written by Robert Altman and Alan Rudolph. Key stars in the film include Paul Newman (Buffalo Bill), Frank Kaquitts (Sitting Bull), Joel Grey (The Producer), and Kevin McCarthy (The Publicist). Other actors include Harvey Keitel, Allan F. Nicholls, Geraldine Chaplin, John Considine, Fred N. Larsen, Pat McCormick and Burt Lancaster. The movie was filmed on location at the Stoney Nakoda reservation in Morley, Alberta, and many of the film extras were from this community. These buffalo badges were used to mark paid entrance to the National Parks from 1925-1938 and were fixed to a car's front radiator with wire. This sketch shows a standing buffalo, a design used from 1932-1938. Also includes the envelope the print was stored in. Written on the front are details of what the sketch is of and that it was give to Jim Sime from Fergus Lothian in 1977.

- Comedy thriller "Silver Streak" (1976) was directed by Arthur Hiller and written by Colin Higgins. Parts of the filming took place in locations throughout Alberta, including Okotoks, Calgary, and Drumheller. The film largely takes place aboard a moving train, and the use of Canadian Pacific Railway for this purpose is likely how Nicholas Morant (Canadian Pacific's Special Photographer from 1930 - 1981) was able to take the photographs in this file.

- Three images within the file are of Sheila Morgan, a model who Nicholas Morant worked with at the Algonquin Resort Hotel in New Brunswick, likely some time in the 1940's. The Algonquin Resort was bought by the Canadian Pacific Railway in 1903 and sold to private owners in 1970.
