- “Premo D” folding camera (4”x5” format) with a leather covered wooden frame. The camera has a leather handle centred on the top and held in place with brass keepers. The hinged front of the camera opens to lie flat and has a brass track (3.2 cm wide) running down the centre. The red leather bellows extend along the track and end with a wooden frame that holds a lens (missing) and a viewfinder. - A simple rectangular copper box, silver plated on sides and top. Lift off lid slips down over small copper lip. Top of lid has poem engraved in calligraphy of east-Asian writing. Box contains translation of poem on "American Mail Line" writing paper. "Friend of my belove(d) Ink. Friend of some birth place. Spring breeze is based of Writting (sic) brush. Always holding on the hand. Letter writting (sic) is mutially(?) in need. It will not be degeneralate (sic - degenerate?). Box contains small piece of compressed solid ink ? with east-Asian character stamped on side in gold, and inside is stained black.

- Two flat, round, gold lockets, hinged at bottom to open, with loose ring through soldered ring at top. (a) plain, small thumbnail slot near top to open. Inside of locket recessed with flat gold ring around edge which snaps in over celluloid to hold in place, one side contains lock of yellow-white hair under celluloid. Celluloid missing from other side. Marks: scratched into empty side, "42"(?) (b) photo on front,gold filled, with cast wreath around hand tinted photo of a street in "West Port, Newburgh" covered with celluloid. Inside recessed with rings as above, each side holding another photo scene identified as "Lindores, Newburgh" and "The Schools, Newburgh". Inner rings of copper back cast with scrolled feather design flowing around one side. Large hinge on bottom. Lip around one frame inside, fits into recess on other side to latch when closed. Stamped into one side of edge, "P.Patent”

- A small dark brown leather case with a snap button (labelled “Waterbury Button Co.”) flap. The case opens flat and is lined with purple velvet on two sections to protect needles when the case is closed. The case is complete with six three-cornered stainless steel curved needles that are graduated in size, four flat needles graduated in size, and eight three-cornered needles curved at the tip in varying sizes. The needles are stuck through a padded band of the velvet lining.

- A simple, plain, green jade heart on a thick, double link gold chain. Heart is mottled with whitish colour, and very simply shaped with rounded edges and not a definitely defined cleavage. Small ring pierced with hole carved at cleavage, with loose gold ring through hole. Chain is lush and thick, with ornate clasp at front which forms bar from which pendant hangs. Bar clasp is ornate, cast gold, elliptic shape with ring at each end attached to short hexagonal sleeve which holds end of chain. Small ring soldered at middle of bar holds end of chain. Small ring soldered at middle of bar holds latching ring clasp which is fastened through ring of pendant. Clasp in bar operated by pressing together small tab and ring at one side, and pulling a short pressure bar out.

- A purse of blue grey silk with ivory battens at drawstring closure, and embroidered beaded figures of man and woman dancing. Purse is essentially a square with a panel along the sides and bottom for width, with a stiff panel inserted at the bottom between lining and purse. Top draws closed with a silver metallic cord through a short ivory batten on the front and back causing the bag to form two pleats on either side. Ends of cord have red and grey beaded loop tassels. Bag lined front, back and bottom with pink silk. Figures beaded on front of purse depict woman in yellow dress and man in green trousers and pink jacket holding top hat while they are dancing.
