The handle is a diamond shaped open sided compartment joined by a bar at either end. This glass has good magnification (20 X) if held close, but the image turns upside-down if the object is more than 2 cm away. The magnifying glass is marked “Carl Wetzlar Achromatic No.2744 20X”. b) A snug fitting black leather case with a snapping flap. The case is sewn together with heavy thread and has a small white cardboard box inside.
