- The whole image has a lot of blue in it for color. In the foreground and to the bl is the lightest blue section of the painting. Above that is a section of landscape medium to light blue in color. The middle ground is the green blue part of the painted landscape. The mountains in the distance are blue and the sky above is blue with white and grey clouds. The paint has been applied very thick therefor there is a heavy texture throughout.
