Fonds consists of correspondence files titled "Christian Haesler," 1939, "Conrad Kain," 1934-1935, 1962-1964, and "Jasper Park 1929-1930." Material pertains to Hasler's climbing activities, grizzly bear mauling and resulting support for Hasler from U.S. climbing community; J. Monroe Thorington's biography of Kain and recollections of same; and arrangements between Kingman and J. A. Weiss concerning winter ski expedition, Jasper. Mary Andrews was Librarian at the Whyte Museum of the Canadian Rockies, Banff, Alberta, from 1973 until 1999. Andrews is the daughter of Lieutenant- Colonel Gerald Smedley Andrews.
