Inset grey eyes, red mouth open showing white upper teeth. Short hair inset at nape of neck and at ears, longer from top of head, bare circle at top, long front hair tied to sides, boys' hairdo. Hand sewn inner garment has tie dyed red collar sewn on to red body, green sleeves, red and white tie-dyed belts. Sash 55.5 x 2.3 - blue gold one side, other red with blue stripe.

A red wrap around skirt with long woven string tie. Blue tie dyed belt 23.0 long. Over this a long sash 47.0 x 3.0, grey tones. Paper tag sewn on back: "Mrs R Robb".

Japanese, large articulated changing doll, woman, fully clothed. Face, feet and hands made of plaster, body and legs of plastered wood, articulated at neck, elbows, hips, knees and ankles. Elbows to shoulders cloth covered wire for easy movements. Inset, open grey eyes, red lips open slightly to show white teeth. Fancy hairdo with one blue and one red tie dyed scarf, hair inset into head. Silver ornament stuck into hairdo at front. A paper band is glued around her waist with Japanese writing: "Dollmaker - Eitoku-sai of Kyoto; Tokyo, Nihon-Bashi-Doli 10 store shops. Doll has sewn red silk long-sleeved underwear. Collar decorated with tie-dyed silk sewn on. Outerwear: double-sewn: outside, long-sleeved autumn flowers and red maple leaves. Basting stitches never removed. Red tie-dyed sash 104.0 x 6.5.
