- Christina Evelyn Bateman (Henry), 1894-1991, was a resident of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Assistant Registrar at the University of Saskatchewan until her marriage in 1925 to Prof. John V. Bateman. She attended the 1923 Alpine Club of Canada camp and graduated on a climb on Odaray Mountain.

- Olive McDonnell Allan (1896-1978) took a wildflower painting and collecting trip in 1924 to Banff from Edmonton. McDonnell Allan attended the Lamerton School in Alberta until 1901. After this she was tutored at home, until the family’s move to Victoria, BC. Olive and her brother lived with relatives north of Alix, Alberta until they joined their sister and parents in Victoria. In Victoria Olive attended St. Anne's Academy. Prior to her marriage Olive attended business college in Calgary, and took courses at the University of Alberta. At this time she worked as the Assistant Librarian at the University of Alberta Extension Department. While she was living in Edmonton, Olive met James Rennie Nicol Allan while she was visiting her relatives in the Alix, Alberta area. They were married August 23, 1923. Olive played violin in the Symphony Orchestra in Edmonton, and sold her violin to pay for a nurse to attend the birth of her daughter Eve. Olive and James had two children, James McDonnell Allan and Eve Elizabeth Blanche Keates (nee Allan). Olive returned to the Banff/Lake Louise area in 1948 when her daughter, Eve, was working there. Olive belonged to the Alix (Alberta) Horticulture Club, and throughout her life she was an avid gardener, and won many awards.

- Bruce Patterson, b.1949, was a journalist, writer and photographer at Calgary and Claresholm, Alberta, Canada. Patterson reported for the Calgary Herald for fifteen years, four of those years as Banff Bureau Chief. He accompanied the 1982 Canadian Mount Everest Expedition as a support team member and covered the expedition for Southam News. Bruce Patterson is the author of "Canadians on Everest" (Calgary, Alberta: Detselig Enterprises, 1990).

- History / Biographical
- The Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies is a trail riding organization based in Calgary, Alberta. The organization was established in 1923 with the support of the Canadian Pacific Railway. The first ride was held in 1924, and annual summer trail rides and pow-wows attracted fifteen hundred members by 1929. Many notable residents of the Bow Valley, including members of the Brewster and Moore families, Catherine Robb and Peter Whyte, and Carl Rungius have participated in trail rides. Support from the Canadian Pacific Railway ended in 1961. As of 2020, the Trail Riders of the Canadian Rockies remains an active organization. Eric Astley Soole (1918-2012) grew up in Banff and Calgary. He married Sylvia (Maberley) Soole (1924-2016) in 1942 or 1943. Eric served in the Royal Canadian Air Force

- Jon Whelan (1952-2022) was a researcher, historian, and collector based in Banff, Alberta. Jon had a special interest in topics related to Banff National Park and Canadian Pacific Railway Company. Jon conducted independent research, as well as research for various authors and historians, from the 1980s onwards. Jon was also an active participant in municipal politics in Banff. "For most of Jon’s life, he was engaged in community affairs and fearless in voicing an opinion. He was successful in raising public awareness and his tenacity achieved a personal goal, which was to initiate the use of video for regular Town of Banff council meetings. - John Amatt (May 19, 1945 - ) was an educator, expedition leader, public speaker, and founder of One Step Beyond WorldWide. He was a climber, business manager, spokesman and press liason for the 1982 Canadian Mount Everest Expedition.

- David Zweifel (1950 -) is a professional violinist who met Catharine Robb Whyte in December 1966 at the age of 16, shortly following the death of her husband Peter Whyte. Catharine helped to fund Zweifel's musical education and concert trips over the following years, and arranged with her friend Murray Adaskin for Zweifel to obtain a violin that had been previously owned by David White, who was the father of Peter Whyte. Zweifel attended Master classes in music at the Banff Centre as a young adult and stayed in Catharine's home with her during the summer months. David and Catharine were both active in outdoor activities and sports, and the pair went on multiple skiing trips and hikes together including Mount Rundle. Upon completing his education, Zweifel moved to Switzerland to join the Lausanne Orchestra. Catharine visited David and his wife Marilyn in Switzerland at least twice, in 1972 and 1977. Zweifel later became a concert violinist for the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra upon returning to Canada. David performed at Catharine Robb Whyte's memorial service at the Banff Centre on March 15, 1979 alongside Ken Stromberg [violin], and Tom Rolston [viola]. Marilyn Zweifel also performed a vocal solo. David Zweifel made a brief appearance in the 2016 film "Drawing Home", which tells the story of Peter and Catharine Whyte, in which he plays an unnamed violinist on a train ride to Banff.
