- Round box of one dozen B Size Prana Sparklet Bulbs with manufacturer details embossed throughout the lid except for where a thin pale blue paper adhesive label with directions of use bisects the lid - this label wraps around to the bottom of the box, but has been torn at both ends, allowing access to the contents. The bulbs are small rounded oblongs with a short spout at one end arranged in a circle with the spouts pointing to the middle. Sparklet bulbs were used in liquid aerators [or syphons], such as those for soda water. Containing compressed carbon dioxide, the bulbs would be inserted into the spout of the syphon so that the seal is compressed and the gas is activated - once the hiss of the gas was heard, the bottle would be shaken, held still for a moment, and then the handle was pressed to release a stream of carbonated soda.
