Two kitchen knives with steel blades and wooden handles - the handles have three brass studs each. Description
Mostly matching set of nickel silver dining flatware consisting of four forks, two knives [one of which does not match the rest], and three spoons - one is smaller than the other two. The set features decorations of flowers throughout the handles; two bunched together at the end, one in the middle, and one just below the head with thin decorative lines between them. The one knife that doesn’t match the others has a decorative border around the mostly square handle with scrolls and flowers in the middle - it has a maker’s mark stamped on the blade that looks like “CVO STAINLESS.” Every piece of the set has “ROGERS NICKEL SILVER” stamped on the backs - no information found online.

Small red and gold tin box with a hinged lid containing spare gramophone needles, some of which are held by a small piece of cardboard. Printed on the red lid in gold is a dog looking into the bell of a gramophone with “FULL TONE NEEDLES 300” is printed above and “HIS MASTERS VOICE” below. Manufacturer details printed on the bottom of the box, as well as the instruction to only use each needle once. Berliner Gram-O-Phone Co. is the Canadian branch of the of German-based company Deutsche Grammophon, founded by gramophone inventor Emile Berliner and his brother Joseph in Montreal in 1898. Over the next 10 years, Berliner Gram-O-Phone Co. would record and press records, as well as distribute various kinds of gramophones, in Montreal until it was sold in 1924 to the Victor Talking Machine Co.

Inscribed inside the outer circular edge “IMPERIAL ORDER DAUGHTERS OF THE EMPIRE” in gold lettering. There is a square Union Jack overlaying a white seven-pointed star. A pair of black and white ski boots with a black plastic carrier. a-b) A pair of heavy black and white lace up ski boots. They are ankle height, with black leather exterior and white coloured tongues and around the top. The outer side of each boot features a logo for “KOFLACH”, the logo is a oval with curved lines (like latitude and longitude lines on a globe) with “KOFLACH” over top the oval all in gold writing. The stitching of the boot is white, possibly decorative. Along each side of the boot is 10 gold metal circles along the tongue and top edge of the boots. There are 8 gold hooks per side that are laced up with white laces and knotted at the top. The ankles are somewhat padded. There is a thick sole from 1.5 cm at the toe to 2.5 cm thick at the heel. Bottom of boot is patterned with diagonal lines and down through the middle is 11 circles spaced out in a pattern. There are three screws at the toes.c) A black plastic and metal ski boot carrier with a rubber handle, with “SHOE-IN” written across the handle. On each side of the carrier are two metal rungs where the heal and toe of the ski boots rest. The raised plastic in which the bottom of the boot rests has a logo for the product which reads “ALLSOP” then two mountain peaks with a snowflake in the middle, “BOOT-IN”, then “automatic” in black and gold writing. Description
A small red souvenir tin to mark the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. On the lid of the tin in the middle is a printed black and white image of Queen Elizabeth II as a young queen in a purple circle. This circle is bordered by a circular border with illustrations of rose and leek on the left, thistle and shamrock on the right, the crown on the top middle, and bottom middle a blue circle with gold writing “EIIR”. The Union Jack flag is on the left and the royal standard flag to the right. In a gold scroll at the bottom of the tin reads “LONG MAY SHE REIGN”. The corners of the base of the tin are painted gold. On the bottom of the tin black text reads “A SOUVENIR TO CELEBRATE THE CORONATION OF HER MAJESTY QUEEN ELIZABETH II 2nd JUNE 1953” in the middle, along the bottom reads “With the Compliments of OXO (CANADA) LIMITED, MONTREAL PRINTED IN ENGLAND”. The interior of the tin is silver, there is a stack of green “ADMIT ONE” tickets. The lid comes of completely, no hinge mechanism. The inside of the lid is gold and features text that includes factual information on the life of the Queen Elizabeth II, including birth, 1947 speech from South Africa, marriage to Prince Philip, and her two children at the time of coronation.
