- A book of photographic blotter paper. The front is beige in colour with labels and designs. In the top left corner it reads “PHOTOGRAPHIC BLOTTER BOOK” and in the bottom right corner in a text box it reads “DIRECTIONS FOR USE Place the washed prints face down on the Blotting Paper and remove excess water by passing print roller over them slightly. Then turn print over with picture side to waxed paper. Put book in warm place with some weight on it and allow to dry. Avoid too much weight or heat. MANUFACTURED BY DAVID SPECIALTY CO. CHICAGO”. Inside there is one sheet of loose thick paper folded, the rest of the paper is alternating between paper and waxed paper.

- Mostly matching set of nickel silver dining flatware consisting of four forks, two knives [one of which does not match the rest], and three spoons - one is smaller than the other two. The one knife that doesn’t match the others has a decorative border around the mostly square handle with scrolls and flowers in the middle - it has a maker’s mark stamped on the blade that looks like “CVO STAINLESS.” Every piece of the set has “ROGERS NICKEL SILVER” stamped on the backs - no information found online.

- Small red and gold tin box with a hinged lid containing spare gramophone needles, some of which are held by a small piece of cardboard. Printed on the red lid in gold is a dog looking into the bell of a gramophone with “FULL TONE NEEDLES 300” is printed above and “HIS MASTERS VOICE” below. Manufacturer details printed on the bottom of the box, as well as the instruction to only use each needle once. Berliner Gram-O-Phone Co. is the Canadian branch of the of German-based company Deutsche Grammophon, founded by gramophone inventor Emile Berliner and his brother Joseph in Montreal in 1898. Over the next 10 years, Berliner Gram-O-Phone Co. would record and press records, as well as distribute various kinds of gramophones, in Montreal until it was sold in 1924 to the Victor Talking Machine Co.

Both the bowl and the lid have instructions and advertisements [for other Grimwades products] throughout the insides and outsides. The bowl has four notches on the bottom and the lid has four corresponding notches in the rim where two loops of string fit to hold the lid in place while cooking.According to the instructions throughout, these bowls were used predominantly for “meat puddings” - the central funnel serves like a bundt pan in order to evenly cook the pudding.

The smaller lock has “MILLER” in a decorative scroll and “3-LEVER” engraved above the key hole. Both locks have several brass studs throughout the fronts and backs.
