- A large travelling case (a) of leather lined with satin. The lid secures with two latches that lock at the front. The leather carrying handle has a canvas cover which laces on. Inside the case there are several straps to hold implements and containers. The case contains: a hairbrush (b), a clothes brush (c), a shoe horn (d), a buttonhook (e), an oval bottle (f), two square bottles (g,h), and a key (i). All of the handles and bottle tops have orange stripes on a gold ground. All of the containers are marked “Germany”. The case is covered with a dark blue cloth cover made to fit, and this cover has an oval leather patch centred on the front with 'P.B.M.' in gold letters.
