The plastic tube is situated on a bezeled block of wood in two tones, one a deep brown colour, the other a light yellow. A small, brass coloured metal plate at the base of statue reads “Presented To / 2351/ Royal Canadian Army Cadet Corps / Banff Alberta / By The / Alberta United Services Institute / Calgary Alberta / For Being The Best Army Cadet Corps / In Southern Alberta / 1959”. Carved and painted decorative wall hanging of a Scandinavian-styled house. The upper floor of the house has a balcony across it with three flowerpots and a pink and white polka-dotted cloth on the banister. Behind the banister is a blue door with red shutters. The roof is painted red and has a short chimney on the left-hand side and the back panel the house is mounted to is painted blue with a yellow trim and flowers throughout. On the back is a black and gold sticker reading “Sydney Reynolds LTD. VICTORIA B.C. DIRECT IMPORTERS” as well as “HAND CARVED” written in black ink, possibly by Morant.

Hard-sided black travel case with metal corner brackets, reinforcements along all edges, metal loops on both short sides with a remnant of a leather strap attached to the right-hand loop, a leather handle attached to the lid with metal brackets, wooden runners on the bottom and front of the case, and three metal clasps - the centre one of which has a keyhole. Attached to the handle on the lid is a leather travel tag with a clear plastic window through which Morant’s Canadian Pacific details are visible.The interior of the case lined with beige fabric and is divided into five compartments in the main body (in addition there are two inserts, one a box the other a panel, that sit on supports) and three compartments in the lid. Two of the lid compartments have aluminum foil lining the backs.Contents of the case include:b : thirteen film magazines, some of which are wrapped in paper. c : two Spiralite and two Kodak lenses - the Spiralite ones are housed in leather pouches and one of the Kodak ones is housed in the original yellow “Kodak Pola-Screen” cardboard box.d : three Technika lenses housed in fabric bags - one is a deep blue velvet bag with a gold drawstring, one is a blue-green bag with red cord trim that snaps closed, and one is a patterned red structured fabric box with metal clasps.e : miscellaneous tools and includes fold-out magnifying glasses in leather envelopes, remote triggers, wooden spacers, pliers, micro screwdrivers, a timer attachment in a small leather case, a pen flashlight, and a small flat-headed screwdriver.f : assorted papers and manuals - also includes “Photographic Authorization” forms for use of Morant’s photographs.h : four lens hoods. Two are housed in fabric bags, one a purple Crown Royal bag and one in a red and blue bag. g : various filters - most are Kodak and housed in their original paper/cardboard boxes/sleeves and most have their identifier written on the box possibly by Morant.

Description
An old-fashioned metal alarm clock with a manual bell (4.0x8.0cm wide) on top. The face is off-white in colour and made from paper. The numbers on the face are in Roman numerals with gold-coloured ornate crosses in between each number. There is a round, intricate, gold-coloured design (7.0cm radius) in the centre of the face. There are two black clock hands, hour and minute, and two smaller mini faces (both measuring 2.0cm wide) above and below the centre of the face. The top mini face is an alarm, with numbers 1-12. The bottom mini face displays the seconds, in degrees of 10 with numbers. On top of the bell there is a gold-coloured ring, possibly used for carrying. There are two gold-coloured splayed legs to support the clock when upright. There is a golden banded detail around the circumference of the face and the body. On the back of the clock, there are two wind-up mechanisms, the viewer-left key is marked with “W.A.” and has an arrow pointing in a clockwise direction, the viewer-right key is marked with “W.T.” and has an arrow pointing in a counterclockwise direction. Situated between these wind-up mechanisms are two buttons that are arranged vertically. The top button controls the alarm and moves the hands in a clockwise direction. The bottom button is missing. Above the top button there is an “A”, and below the bottom button there is an “H”. There is also a slide-adjustment knob marked with an “F” on viewer-left and “S” on viewer-right (possibly used as a faster-slower feature for the alarm bell). There is also a button missing from underneath this slide-adjustment knob. Scratched into the top of the back of the clock is “Nick Morant Banff”. Written upside-down at the top viewer-right is “55.”
