- John Amatt (May 19, 1945 - ) was an educator, expedition leader, public speaker, and founder of One Step Beyond WorldWide. He was a climber, business manager, spokesman and press liason for the 1982 Canadian Mount Everest Expedition.

- History / Biographical
- Morris D. Parry, 1893-1978, was a member of the Alpine Club of Canada - Edmonton Section. Born in Llanfairfechan, Wales in 1893, he came to Canada at the age of 19, and to Edmonton in 1912. He worked first as a banker and later in the investment department at H. M. E. Evans and Co. During the war years, Parry was on loan to the National War Finance Committee for the northern half of Alberta.
