- A two-piece box, where the inner box slides into the the cover, of safety matches with a striking surface on both sides. The box cover is red with black printing. The cover has a white striking surface and the inner match storage area is black. The top of the box cover has a scene of a family eating a meal together; three children, two parents and a dog. On the viewer’s left, there is red wording against a black banner background, “Real” in writing, followed by “HOME” and underneath, “COOKING” in printing. On viewer’s right, the words “FAMILY” and underneath “DINNERS” are printed in black. There are 43 wooden matches with black and white tips in the box.

- Description
- A white commemorative porcelain cup of the royal family, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. It is a tall cup with a handle that is triangle-shaped with some gold along it, and gilded on the lip. One side is an illustration of the Royal Family (King George VI, Queen Elizabeth, and Princess Elizabeth and Margaret) inside a pair of golden laurel wreaths, a red crown over the middle, underneath the portrait are scrolls in gold that read “THE ROYAL FAMILY MAY 12th CORONATION 1937 SOUVENIR”. On the opposite side of the cup is a small badge with the crown, a lion and unicorn and scrolls around it. The badge reads “THE ROYAL FAMILY THEIR MAJESTIES, KING QUEEN GEORGE VI ELIZABETH THE PRINCESS ELIZABETH AND PRINCESS MARGARET ROSE”, the scrolls reads “MAY 12th CORONATION SOUVENIR 1937”. On the bottom of the cup is a stamp that reads “MADE IN ENGLAND” and another stamp “PORTRAIT BY MARCUS ADAMS”.

- A black basalt tea service made for the opening of the south wing of the Banff Springs Hotel in 1907. All of the pieces have a black unglazed exterior, glazed interior, green glazing around the lids, rims and touches on the handles. Each piece has a multi-coloured (white, blue , green, yellow red and white) shield made up of the provinces’ coat of arms, underneath that, a ribbon with the word “CANADA” and underneath “BANFF”. On the top of the shield is a royal crown. Each piece has an identification number in green on the bottom. Painted in green on the base are: (a) the teapot with a lid (8.5x14.0cm wide) “A3455 11”; (b ) the milk jug (10.0X9.0cm wide) (“42” carved into the basalt) “C3455 9”; (c) the lidded sugar bowl (7.5X10.0cm wide) “C3455 7”; (d) the small creamer (5.5x11.0cm wide) “C3455 7”. - Black plastic “OAKVILLE PIN HOLDER” in its original yellow cardboard box. The pin holder consists of a two-tiered body on a wider sloped base - the lower compartment contains the pins and the upper piece is pressed down on a spring, which funnels a pin through a hole on the top, allowing it to be pulled out. The top consists of a cap that can be snapped off by pressing a small metal lever in order to access the pin compartment. The yellow cardboard box contains manufacturer information and instructions throughout the outside.
