Description
A silver-plated tea service with four pieces:a) A squat, round, silver-plated teapot with a slightly curved long spout which is flattened on top and attached just below the middle of the pot. There is a high loop handle opposite the spout that is made of dark brown wood and has a curled thumb tab at the top. The lid of the teapot is slightly domed and has a dark brown wooden knob on top. b) A simple, round, silver-plated creamer with a high loop handle that is attached at the base and curls inward where it attaches at the lip. The creamer has a short squared spout attached from the middle of the bowl up to the lip.c) A sugar bowl that matches the creamer but has two handles instead of a handle and a spout. d) A pair of long, slightly shaped sugar tongs. Each end of the tongs has three prongs.

Description
A serving tray consisting of three round plates set vertically inside of a vertical brass ring. There is a small loop handle for carrying at the top of the ring. The plates are hinged so that the two outside plates fold down to rest on the table at each side of the brass ring, and the middle plate swings to a horizontal position held in place at the middle of the ring by a hinge at either side. Each plate is covered with a geometric pattern of green and red enamel with a red bird at the centre (peacock? or turkey? with tail outspread). The bottom of each plate is marked with “6”.

A tea set consisting of a teapot (a), sugar bowl (c) and creamer (b). a) The teapot has a wide bottom with sides curving inward and then out again to a flat shoulder with the lid set in from the shoulder. The teapot has a slightly curved spout attached opposite to a loop handle that is attached at the shoulder and the base. The teapot is decorated with white on a deep blue background. There is a band of white acanthus leaves around the lid and wreaths of acanthus leaves where the handle and spout join the pot. The pot is decorated with a series of white relief standing figures in togas and trees.b) The creamer has a spherical shape with the lip and body distorted to form a pouring spout. The creamer is white inside and deep blue outside with white relief robed figures and trees around the outside.c) The sugar bowl has the same shape and decorative design as the teapot (a), except there is no spout and the bowl has two small loop handles.
