Description
A serving tray consisting of three round plates set vertically inside of a vertical brass ring. There is a small loop handle for carrying at the top of the ring. The plates are hinged so that the two outside plates fold down to rest on the table at each side of the brass ring, and the middle plate swings to a horizontal position held in place at the middle of the ring by a hinge at either side. Each plate is covered with a geometric pattern of green and red enamel with a red bird at the centre (peacock? or turkey? with tail outspread). The bottom of each plate is marked with “6”.
