On the top face of the box, there is text that reads, “ASSORTMENT No. 743”; “24 ASSORTED COLORS”; “MONGOL COLORED INDELIBLE EXTRA STRONG THIN LEAD PENCILS”; “CAN BE SHARPENED TO A NEEDLE POINT”; “”PAINT WITH PENCILS” USE BRUSH AND WATER”; “EBERHARD FABER MADE IN U.S.A. TRADE MARKS REG. U.S. PAT OFF.
