- A necklace of a double strand of seed beads with five large cat (cougar ?) claws attached at front. The length is composed of blue and white beads strung on each strand with six blue beads, then five white, then six more blue, then the two strands joined together by a single white bead, with this pattern of loops thus formed repeated along its length. The five claws are evenly spaced at the front with two of these beaded loops between each.

- On the side of a mountain a cougar leaves her cubs to go off hunting. In the distance on the left side of the image you can see the baby cubs high up in the mountain in an opening of rock. The mother cougar has come down from the cubs and is located in the bottom left corner facing and heading toward the brc. In the brc what appears to be two bighorn sheep are feeding. Between the cougar and the other animals a large gorge between the two sections of the mountain exists. Around the cougar and the other animals light green grass is growing. In the background are more mountains blue in colour. The sky above is a light blue with some white clouds.

- History / Biographical
- The Banff Zoo operated as a tourist attraction from about 1905 until 1937, when it was shut down due to concerns about animal cruelty. While it was open, the Banff Zoo held monkeys, cougars, a polar bear named "Buddy" [acquired in 1907], two bear cubs from 1915 onwards, and various other wildlife.

- File consists of one album containing 35 black and white postcards and 1 colour postcard. Contents pertain to wildlife in the Rocky Mountains, including moose, bears, big horn sheep, buffalo, cougars, deer and elk, at least some of which were held in the Banff Zoo. File also contains images of Lethbridge [ca. 1909], Col. Cyril Childe [ca. 1920], Mt. Rundle, Niagara Canyon and other untitled views of the Canadian Rockies. One image depicting Lethbridge is dated 1909, stamped and annotated.
