- Description
- (a) An electric table lamp with a base made from a tripod of 3 deer hoofs.Stand: Deer hoofs are stabilized by an inner wooden core. The shaft is covered in deer fur and terminates with bone, only visible when the shade is removed. Electrical cord runs out of the bottom of the stand, where the hooves diverge. The wooden core is visible at this opening. At the top of the stand is a metal fixture of two light bulb sockets. This fixture has a brass coloured shaft that is bolted to the bone via a grey plate. Two brass-coloured beaded chains are the switches for each light and hang from the sockets. (b) A rounded metal cup that is the centre of the shade’s frame fits onto the metal socket fixture of the stand. The shade is made from honey-brown coloured laminated paper stretched between two metal ring., The top ring is smaller than the bottom, resulting in a flared shape.
