- In August, 1881 Lieutenant Adolphus W. Greely and a team of 25 determined men set out as part of the First International Polar Year to build a research station on Ellesmere Island, 450 miles from the North Pole. The Lady Franklin Bay Expedition began as the most ambitious arctic expedition in United States history, but was destined to descend into a three year journey through a frozen hell - a voyage of forced retreaat, starvation, brewing mutiny and cannibalism. Against all odds, six men survived and returned to Portsmouth, New Hampshire as American heros. (from back of book)

- The Film "Buffalo Bill and the Indians, or Sitting Bull's History Lesson", was filmed in 1975 and released in 1976. The film was directed by Robert Altman and co-written by Robert Altman and Alan Rudolph. Key stars in the film include Paul Newman (Buffalo Bill), Frank Kaquitts (Sitting Bull), Joel Grey (The Producer), and Kevin McCarthy (The Publicist). Other actors include Harvey Keitel, Allan F. Nicholls, Geraldine Chaplin, John Considine, Fred N. Larsen, Pat McCormick and Burt Lancaster. The movie was filmed on location at the Stoney Nakoda reservation in Morley, Alberta, and many of the film extras were from this community. Stoney Nakoda Chief Frank Kaquitts (Sitting Wind) played the role of Sitting Bull

- Long and thin silver metal travel case with 2.5 rubber feet on the bottom [one is completely missing, one only partially], two metal clasps holding the hinged lid closed, and a black hard plastic handle on the lid. Several long strips of adhesive tape - mostly silver duct tape - throughout the exterior, often obscuring paper labels and something written on the front in marker. The interior of the case is lined with pieces of yellow foam that have been glued in place. Housed inside the case is a black metal 300mm Century Precision Optics Tele-Athenar lens - these lenses were specifically designed for profession motion picture, video, and still photography and was most likely used by Eddie Hunter on Head Hunter Films projects.

- The Camps" is a cross-Canada journey into the past, present and future. In the fall of 2015, the crew of Armistice Films embarked upon an historical journey. Armed with professional cinema cameras, four film professionals set out to document the remains of all of the internment camps used during Canada's First National Internment Operations from 1914 to 1920. At the internment sites, the crew interviewed a variety of individuals who have either a direct or indirect tie to the Internment Operations. They interviewed several internee descendants, including those of Ukrainian, German and Hungarian descent. They interviewed scholars, political leaders, activists, an RCMP officer, the Chief of Brandon Police Services, The Chief of The Batchewana First Nation, Museum Curators, a former Park Warden and Sculptor John Boxtel. In "The Camps", we hear three languages English, French (including 2 fully Francophone episodes) and Ukrainian, and see equal representation of both men and women. ... Filmed at Bow Lake and at the Peyto Lake Lookout, the plot follows an outlaw trapper who steals a snowmobile from outside a North West Mounted Police outpost, prompting a Marx Brothers-style chase wherein the Mountie attempts to apprehend the outlaw on snowshoes, skis, horse, truck, and snowmobile, which he eventually does.
