- A small pair of silver wings around an enamelled seal of the Royal Canadian Air Force. Very realistic bird wings on each side. Round seal surmounted by imperial crown with motto banner beneath. Seal separate and soldered to wings behind. Seal light blue enamel at centre with blue band around containing motto, "per ardua ad astra", and silver eagle flying across middle. Imperial crown atop of silver with red behind blue banner beneath seal, "Royal Can Air Force". Horizontal hinged pin from wingtip to wingtip on back fastens into locking clasp.
