Description
An ink and pencil drawing of a title page where the title is arranged as such: BLIND DATE In the foreground a male figure in shorts, knee-high socks and a cap, stands contemplating the scene with his back to the viewer. He carries luggage. Troops carrying weapons march in lockstep away from the viewer, and in the direction of the title text. Above the title, a tank drives to the viewer’s right, with mountains and clouds in the background.At the bottom and foreground, text reads: BY JOHN WINDSOR. The initials P.W. appear In the bottom right corner of the drawing.This part is rendered in ink and enclosed within hand drawn frame. Handwritten below the frame in pencil is the comment:Excellent- think title “BLIND DATE” should be bigger, bolder, dressier. Add “BY” John Windsor.At the topmost part of the paper, there is a pencil sketch of a tank, and a comment: “NO” with an arrow pointing to the ink-drawn tank within the frame.

Description
A pair of black, men’s stirrup pants. The pants have two elastic band stirrups on the ends of each pant leg, and above where the stirrups start are small slits in the fabric. The pant legs are quite wide and have one pleat down the center of each on both the front and the back. There are two zipper pockets on the front, one on each side, and two pockets on the back, one on each side with no zippers. The front has a zipper fly and two snap buttons for closure. Belt loops on the waistband as well as a v-shaped slit at the back on the waistband. Small yellow tag pinned to one leg reads “715” in handwriting.

Description
An ink and pencil drawing of three men in uniform. Two of the men are normally scaled, but the third, central figure is scaled so that his head only reaches the knee of the other two men. All are wearing dark trousers, and what appears to be a belted military coats with large buttons. Their pillbox caps sit on the sides of their heads. All stand with perfect posture, but the third miniature figure’s back is to the viewer. Below this drawing reads: CHAPTER 2. To the bottom-right of the rightmost figure are the initials P.W.. In the space further to the right of the drawing is the inscription: TWO BURLY SENIOR CLASSMEN TOWERING OVER A SHIVERING RECRUIT. The beginnings of a pencil-sketched head, in a similar scale to the two larger figures appears to the right of the finished, ink figures.The numbers 800000000 (with zeros descending vertically) appear in the top left corner.
