Description
Two pearl necklaces in a small white drawstring bag patterned with blue flowers. (a) 20.5 long, triple strand of tiny seed pearls approximately 2.0 mm in diameter, strands joined with gold bolt ring clasp, natural pearls. (b) 22.0 long, graduated pearls, single strand of pearls progressing in size from 2.5 mm at the ends to 6.0 mm at the centre. Cultured pearls, knot in string between each pearl. Small ellipitical silver filigree clasp set with diamond chip in the middle. Bag also contains three necklace clasps in small envelope marked "Nela's nephrene clasps".

A small, round, Red Cross medallion hanging from blue ribbon. Enamelled brass with blue border around outside edge reading "SERVICE. American Red Cross". White background at middle with red cross applied on top. Flat metal loop at edge holds blue grosgrain ribbon, which widens to loop around flat, brass bar at top. Hinged pin behind bar fastens under hook clasp with tiny lever mechanism to latch pin in place. Back of medallion disk slightly concave with ends of two pins holding red cross on front showing through.
