Each snowshoe has a bent wood frame nailed together at the tail, is braced with flat carved pieces of wood and strung with sinew in a closely laced pattern in three areas. There are tufts of red wool nailed to the outside of the frame around the tip and at the back as decoration on each snowshow. One pair, (a,b), has a homemade harness of white woven tie-on straps. The initials “RB” are are written on the side of (c).
