Description
Gunmetal black pocket alarm watch with copper stem, copper frame for crystal, brass suspension ring, white face. Details on face include independent second hand, luminous hour minute hands and hour positions. Printing "42203 Eterna" under Greek cross, also "Swiss". Independent alarm band runs from centre face to rim and is moved by rotation of crystal frame, spring catch found near stem releases stem pressure so one can wind stem or alternately correct the time. Watch backing hinges open to reveal on off alarm position, slow fast adjustment, and access to inner clock workings. Alarm does operate but clock doesn't. Inside of backing stamped "1751870 Eterna W. watch Co. Switzerland and "Acier Garanti" within oval.

Large papier mache globe of the world in extreme detail. Turns on tripod, 86.3 cm, of wooden legs painted black with gold and blue decoration, and screwed into brass collars. Globe sits inside metal hoop which measures angles from 1-90 degrees in four quadrants, and can be rotated on it's axis. A wide flat wooden ring held by three metal arms curving around the globe encircles it horizontally measuring degrees, direction, the constellations, and months of the year. Overall colours of blue, orange, pink and yellow. Marks: on globe, inside circle with seal of lion and unicorn above "18 inch Terrestrial Globe by W & AK Johnston Limited/Geographers, Engravers & Printers Edinburgh and London"
