- Description
- A small, delicate gold wristwatch with black cord band. Gold casing frames square dial with high, rounded, thick crystal. Stem at right side pulls to set time, gold numerals in circle inside small dots at edge which mark the minutes, straight gold hands. Finial at top and bottom of case form bracket which holds heavy black cord watchband. Cord is doubled through bracket and held together with small gold clip. Ends are clamped with gold accordion folding clasp which snaps closed and has small lever at one end with small sliding bar for finer adjustment to size. Marks: on dial, "Elgin De Luxe" on back of case, "Elgin, hallmark, 10 K gold filled. On back of clasp, "G.F. Sterling base , hallmark," and patent number.

- A small, silver coloured, oval wristwatch with delicate chain mesh band. Watch case of white gold ? with fine design engraved around sides and edges framing dial. Stem at right side pulls to adjust time. Crystal and enclosing frame hinged at top of watch to open. Dial of white enamel with numerals around outside of small oval band marking minutes, delicate black hands. U-shaped metal loops at top and bottom of watch hold flat, mesh link band of white gold. One end of band passes through loop on other end and double back on shelf to adjust to size with a tightening buckle device with engraved design on it. Marks: on dial, "Swiss" on back of band buckle, "18 K, hallmark ".

Inner spring causes links to fall back in place. Links joined by sliding section being fastened around small bar across end of next link, link at each end does not contain sliding mechanism, and has hooks to attach to watch. Top and sides of each link engraved with overall pattern. Marks: on back of two links, "pat. appd. for", on back of one link, "B&N 14k". Note: link second from end does not spring back, end link split across top.

The whole depends from a small, flat, oval, silver-coloured metal pin with clasp. Pin is etched with a drawing of thistles, with an oval rosy-brown coloured faceted stone at its centre. - A simple, plain, green jade heart on a thick, double link gold chain. Heart is mottled with whitish colour, and very simply shaped with rounded edges and not a definitely defined cleavage. Small ring pierced with hole carved at cleavage, with loose gold ring through hole. Chain is lush and thick, with ornate clasp at front which forms bar from which pendant hangs. Bar clasp is ornate, cast gold, elliptic shape with ring at each end attached to short hexagonal sleeve which holds end of chain. Small ring soldered at middle of bar holds end of chain. Small ring soldered at middle of bar holds latching ring clasp which is fastened through ring of pendant. Clasp in bar operated by pressing together small tab and ring at one side, and pulling a short pressure bar out.
