Description
This gold filled pocket watch has an open face, without a glass cover. The watch numbers are written 1-12 with the exception of number 6, which is replaced by a smaller face, for seconds that measures time from 1 to 60. The largest metal hand has been bent upright slightly. “Zenith” is written under the number 12. There is a knob at the top, surrounded by a small circle. Back engraved inscription reads “Presented by H. M. Lyster by the L. P. S. Bankhead”. This inscription is surrounded by the cursive monogram “HML”.

Description
An ornate, engraved, gold pocket watch with separate winding stem. (a) watch, completely engraved around edge, stem bracket, and fob ring, with scrolled vines. Back textured with spiral crosshatching and plain shield shaped plaque at centre surrounded by engraved flowers and vines, gold framed front crystal opens. Porcelain dial beneath with delicate Roman numerals, a recessed circular second dial at bottom, and hair like wire hands. Back of case also hinged to open, ornately engraved plate beneath, two places for winding and setting hands. Marks: inside back cover, "18, hallmark, 21547", engraved plate, "F. Cooper, London, detached lever, thirteen jewels" . (b) winding stem, long, stemmed key with square hole in end to fit winding knobs, and oval shaped handle at top. Small ball around stem at middle allows key to be turned without twisting fob ring attached. Watch runs but hands cannot be set.

Description
A small, delicate gold wristwatch with black cord band. Gold casing frames square dial with high, rounded, thick crystal. Stem at right side pulls to set time, gold numerals in circle inside small dots at edge which mark the minutes, straight gold hands. Finial at top and bottom of case form bracket which holds heavy black cord watchband. Cord is doubled through bracket and held together with small gold clip. Ends are clamped with gold accordion folding clasp which snaps closed and has small lever at one end with small sliding bar for finer adjustment to size. Marks: on dial, "Elgin De Luxe" on back of case, "Elgin, hallmark, 10 K gold filled. On back of clasp, "G.F. Sterling base , hallmark," and patent number.

Stem at right side pulls to adjust time. Crystal and enclosing frame hinged at top of watch to open. Dial of white enamel with numerals around outside of small oval band marking minutes, delicate black hands. U-shaped metal loops at top and bottom of watch hold flat, mesh link band of white gold. One end of band passes through loop on other end and double back on shelf to adjust to size with a tightening buckle device with engraved design on it. Marks: on dial, "Swiss" on back of band buckle, "18 K, hallmark ".
