Hand printed in indelible black ink: on top of the screw-on cap, “4”; on the handle, viewer’s left, above the string, “4”; to the right of the handle (Ken Jones’s monogram) “K” first and then “J” joined to the top of the K, but higher than the K; a little higher than that but on the opposite side of the handle (viewer’s right), “# 4”; and in the middle of the container, “SPRING WATER”.
