Description: The base of this trophy is made from wood. The shape of the base is rectangular with one large wood plaque on the front that reads “Catharine Whyte Memorial Trophy, 1906 - 1979” directly under this are five smaller shield shaped plaques. Standing on top of the base and made out of bronze is a male skier. This male skier is leaning against his skies with one arm wrapped around them . In the other hand, that is placed close to his hip, he holds both ski poles. This man is wearing short pants, a jacket and a peaked cap.

Description: A realistic rendering of a male downhill skier in action, right leg and ski slightly in front of left, knees bent, elbows up holding metal ski poles. The ski poles have metal baskets soldered on to main shaft. The base is a triangular shaped piece 8.7 cm at the back tapering to the front which is 2.5 cm high. The whole sculpture, excluding the poles, is painted silver.

Description: A skier figurine carved from wood and given a very high gloss paint job in bright colours. The skier is a langlaufer on yellow skis, wearing black boots, blue pants, red sweater, yellow scarf, blue toque with coloured band and red pompon, white mitts in which he clasps two brown poles. Hand painted face of suggested eyes and nose and mouth, and rosy cheeks. A saw cut extends through most of the skier's right boot, obviously made after the figure was painted, but for no ascertainable reason.
