- A realistic rendering of a male downhill skier in action, right leg and ski slightly in front of left, knees bent, elbows up holding metal ski poles. The ski poles have metal baskets soldered on to main shaft. The base is a triangular shaped piece 8.7 cm at the back tapering to the front which is 2.5 cm high. The whole sculpture, excluding the poles, is painted silver.

- Mottled green stone for the base is shaped with a ledge. (a) Lower base has 2 holes drilled for the man. (b) The man is dressed in full parka , his face is carved out of ivory and set into parka, carved features with red orange markings. Both hands have a hole drilled through, no fingers. The two bears are carved out of ivory. Both have carved features with black and claws in black. (d) One is sitting and looking over his left shoulder, (c) the other is standing on his back legs, he has a hole drilled in right chest. The bow (e) is slightly curved with notched both ends to which is tied a long piece of very thin sinew. It appears that a spear is missing.
