Lace on (b) is made up of two leather thongs tied in a knot at bottom of closure. Tongues, made of thin light brown leather, are sewn to outer edges of closure and provide facing for lace holes and hooks. 7 cm. leather tab on back seam of each boot. Reinforcing tan coloured leather sewn to the upper 6 cm. of boot edge. Manufacture's label on tongue o f(a) reads, "Original Chippewa Shoes" boots are well worn.
