- Description
- Sturdy mid calf height hiking boots with several groups of three square headed nails pounded into the thick leather soles for traction, four lace hooks close upper portion of boots, leather laces. Lace on (b) is made up of two leather thongs tied in a knot at bottom of closure. Tongues, made of thin light brown leather, are sewn to outer edges of closure and provide facing for lace holes and hooks. 7 cm. leather tab on back seam of each boot. Reinforcing tan coloured leather sewn to the upper 6 cm. of boot edge. Manufacture's label on tongue o f(a) reads, "Original Chippewa Shoes" boots are well worn.
