- A white cardboard card holding a set of needles of various sizes and shapes with the use of each printed below. Flap of clear, stiff plastic stapled to front covers needles. Two semi circular, curved needles ("mattresses seats"), one long, heavy, straight needle ("chairs sofas"), one short needle with three cornered point ("fur, coats, gloves, leather"), and one long, heavy needle with flattened, bent point ("sacks, bags, hampers"). Missing are needles for "carpets and heavy work", and "tents, deck chairs, canvas". Needles pass through elliptical holes in the card and are stitched through two pieces of thin black plastic on back to be held in place, .9 cm hole punched at top of card.

Front is tooled with ornate gold leaf and paint. 2.5 cm. gold leaf border frame central rectangular panel, (14 x 25cm. divided into three sections of gold and multi coloured arabesque pattern. Pigments are poor quality and are cracking and bubbling. Paint appears to have been added later as gold is revealed through cracks in paint. Back cover is tooled in lengthwise and widthwise lines forming 3 cm. squares. Small gold leaf stars are embossed upon each intersection. Flap on each side inside provides two pockets for stationary storage. Printed in gold on inside corner "O R 22 CARATS".
