- Description
- A colour landscape photograph. Mountains in the background fill just over half of the photograph. There is a light haze/fog over the mountains. Above the mountain peaks a strip of clear sky is visible. The sun is rising out of frame on viewers right. There are four peaks layering in front of one another and the closest one looks like a hill with trees on it. The bottom half and foreground of the photograph is a placid lake with a faint reflection of the mountains in it. On the horizon line, where the base of the mountains and the lake meet is a thick line of fog running across the photograph. In the bottom right hand corner of the photo, written in black ink, is the title, year and artist signature, “B. Spohr O’Hara ‘78”. Au verso there is a silver sticker at the bottom in the centre with black print, “MOUNT CORY FRAMES PO 1900 - 217 Bear St. BANFF, ALBERTA T0L 0C0 Phone (403) 762-5155”.
