Above the mountain peaks a strip of clear sky is visible. The sun is rising out of frame on viewers right. The bottom half and foreground of the photograph is a placid lake with a faint reflection of the mountains in it. On the horizon line, where the base of the mountains and the lake meet is a thick line of fog running across the photograph. In the bottom right hand corner of the photo, written in black ink, is the title, year and artist signature, “B. Spohr O’Hara ‘78”.
