On white card reading, "original by Christine Banff, Canada" Set of blue enameled, square cufflinks and matching tie clip. Worked on copper sheet with copper fittings. Enamel of very dark blue where concentrated, becoming a lighter blue green over the high spots of the uneven surface of the metal beneath, champleve, forming a vague herringbone pattern. Copper fittings brazed to back of copper plate. (a,b) cufflinks, wing back clasp hinged between ends of long U-shape bar, swivels perpendicular to insert through buttonhole and parallel to secure. Patent number on back of wingback clasp. (c) tie clip, fitting is flat along back of clip with arm that bends at sharp angle to hold a very tight spring clip behind tie clip, pressing end of spring clip opens jaw of clasp.
