An enamelled pin with large white shield at centre containing gold lion rampant, and red, white and blue ribbon bow behind. Pin gold coloured, but very lightweight metal. Colours applied in cloisonne manner with thin gold coloured lines outlining. White shield, surmounted by gold crown, contains lion in high relief, and reads, "Dieu et mon droit" God and my right. Back has long pin hinged horizontally just above the middle, and fastening into locking clasp. Pin is hollow, with flat backing plate soldered to relief shaped front. Round hole through backing plate at top, and two triangular holes at bottom corners. Stamped across oval on back "Official B.W.R.S. and B.B. by Accessocraft"

Stud spike soldered to centre of back, fastens with large flat circular button with a ring of teeth on the inside, button screws over stud spike. Stamped into back "128402" moulded on back below spike "penalty for misuse 500 dollars or six months imprisonment".
