Description
Red fabric sash for Scouts Canada uniform. Would have been worn over left shoulder, diagonally across chest, and under right arm. Comprised of two pieces of red fabric sewn together at shoulder and under the arm. There are two badges that are hand-sewn onto the front of the sash:A blue CHINOOK REGION badge. The shape is characterized by straight edges on the bottom and a arched top edge. The blue thread inscription of CHINOOK REGION is located at the top edge and bends with the arched shape. The words appear across a silver thread banner. The space below is sky-blue. The entire badge is framed with blue stitching, and and-sewn onto the sash with royal blue thread.Below and to the left of the CHINOOK REGION badge is a shied-shaped badge framed in red thread. In the upper portion of the shield is a red cross on a white background stitched in thread. Below this is a wild rose with red petals and yellow pollen. the flower is attached to a central green stem with leafy vines sprouting from either side. The flower is on a sand-coloured background. The badge is hand-sewn onto the sash with red thread.
